BRIEF: Hospice creates short-term group
STERLING, Jan 12, 2013 (Daily Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Hospice of the Rock River Valley, a United Way agency, will offer a 6-week grief support group for those coping with the loss of a loved one. Sessions will be from 10 a.m. to noon from Jan. 30 to March 6 at Whiteside County Senior Center, 1207 W. Ninth St. Debbie Dean, HRRV social worker will lead the meetings.
HRRV also offers a variety of bereavement services to families and community members. These services include home visits, one-on-one personal visits or meetings, or phone contacts. All services are free and open to the public.
