BRIEF: Weld Central High School gets bomb threat
Jan 11, 2013 (Greeley Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Weld Central High School students were sent home early from school on Friday, after the school received an anonymous phone call threatening to blow it up.
A male caller hung up the phone after making the threat. Administration decided to close for the day because of the threat and because of the inclement weather.
Weld County Sheriff's Office deputies investigating the incident traced the phone number to a 16-year-old student.
Police believe it was a hoax but the investigation will continue.
