BRIEF: Music store target of weekend burglary

A red Peavey electric guitar with hard case, several special effects pedals and cables and other items were stolen between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:36 a.m. Sunday from the store at 335 S. Clark, said Lt. Scott Siemsen.
Siemsen said an office door was kicked in. A safe was taken from the office to the basement and was forced open. Cash totaling about $240 was stolen, Siemsen said.
Total loss and damage was estimated at more than $1,300.
