Dell Could Go Private at $13.50-14 per Share
(Benzinga Lightning Feed Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CNBC's David Faber reported on Tuesday that Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) could be taken private at a cost of $13.50-14 per share.
The Dell going private rumor originated Monday, when Bloomberg reported that the company was in talks with several firms. Shares jumped over 10 percent.
That rumor picked up even more steam on Tuesday, when Reuters reported that Silverlake could be heading up the deal to take the PC maker off the public exchange.
Shares of Dell closed at $13.17 on Tuesday. Even if the company was acquired at $13.50 per share, it would represent a solid premium over Tuesday's closing price.
