BRIEF: Grits Cafe in Forsyth sets reopening date
Jan 15, 2013 (The Macon Telegraph - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
The Grits Cafe in Forsyth is expected to reopen next month.
The restaurant was rebuilt at its original site at 17 W. Johnson St. after a fire gutted the building in March.
A grand reopening is scheduled for Feb. 2, according to an e-mail from the owners.
"Thanks for all your support. We can't wait to see everyone soon," stated the e-mail signed by Terri and Wayne Wetendorf and the Grits Cafe team.
The restaurant opened across from the Monroe County Courthouse in June 1999, according to the restaurant's website.
