Private Saskatchewan high school to supply all students with PC tablets
(Canadian Press DataFile Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WILCOX, Sask. _ A private high school south of Regina is going high-tech.
Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is replacing pen and paper for a stylus and tablet.
Pat Vigneron, the school's technology manager,says math and science students will find the stylus capabilities invaluable, as their work can not be easily typed out.
Vigneron also says teachers will be able to connect with students through cyber space on their tablets.
The school will provide all of its students with state-of-the-art tablets starting next school year.
