Kobe Bryant to promote smart phones for Lenovo Group
BEIJING, Jan 16, 2013 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
The Lenovo Group (00992.HK;
LNVGY.PK), China's biggest PC maker, announced on Wednesday that LA
Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant would become its ambassador to promote
its smart phones.
With the success of Samsung and LeBron James as the example,
Lenovo identified Kobe Bryant as its ambassador. Kobe Bryant will be
responsible for the smartphone of Lenovo. The ambassador role of Kobe
Bryant is limited to Asia Pacific and not global market
Lenovo Group is striving to expand its presence in the global
smart phone market. Kobe Bryant is definitely the perfect medium for
expanding its brand awareness.
The Lenovo Group released its first high-end smart phone-K900 at
the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, which experts hold is a move to
compete with Samsung. The newly introduced K900 is considered to
