DVE Gets Recognition in C-Suite Quarterly Magazine's Winter Edition
Jan 17, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Digital Video Enterprises (DVE) announced that is has been awarded by C-Suite Quarterly Magazine in its 2012-2013 Winter Edition as a special innovation of note among other companies and academic institutions in Los Angeles.
DVE's recognition is alongside notable people, such as Elon Musk of PayPal, Bill Gross of IdeaLab, and Nobel Prize winner Lloyd Shapley, to name a few.
According to a release, "Be There Or Be There - Virtually" is how CSQ describes the products of DVE Telepresence that are transforming the conferencing industry.
"DVE is honored to be recognized among these leading innovators and we appreciate CSQ seeing the perfect fit of DVE solutions for executives. The exposure that CSQ brings is ideal to highlight the new generation of telepresence and videoconferencing systems that DVE is now deploying around the globe," according Jeff Machtig, Co-Founder of DVE. CSQ explains that "With products ranging from a podium with a transparent screen capable of 3-D presentations to entire immersive rooms into which you can beam your image and experience actual eye contact, DVE could soon have people pondering another catchphrase from years past: 'Is it live or is it DVE '"
DVE said it has patented the method of aiming an HD camera through a TV image, allowing executives to make real eye contact while conferencing. Expensive multi-screen conferencing rooms, similar to those promoted by Cisco and Polycom, have struggled to make market gains in recent years, according to IDC Research. However, executives are now discovering the distinction, and market segment, of DVE's single screen real eye contact solutions, while enjoying significant cost savings. Hollywood studios, universities, the U.S. federal government, multinational investment firms, and the aerospace industry, have all chosen DVE for their executive, creative, and engineering videoconference provider. DVE has installations in over 20 countries and in Q1 2013 is deploying in Mainland China.
Digital Video Enterprises is a company focusing on real telepresence meetings.
