Webfargo Data Security Smashes Previous Records

Webfargo Data Security, Inc., the Triangle's only locally owned provider specializing in proactive IT security services, announced today that 2012 was the best year in the company's history. This growth comes on top of that experienced during the previous year, which also set records.

For over a decade, Webfargo has provided North Carolina's leading companies with proactive security services, working behind the scenes to help secure networks while maintaining usability. Since its inception in 2001, Webfargo has seen steady growth across the board, with 2012 beating all previous years.

Webfargo's biggest gains came in its Managed Services division. This was largely due to two factors: 1) continued momentum in the managed Cisco (News - Alert) space, which became a focus in 2011; and 2) its innovative, new Managed Support Service. These gains resulted in a 35% increase in managed revenue. Webfargo's suite of managed services andsolid customer base positions the company well for 2013.

Another area of significant growth was Vulnerability Assessment Services, which increased more than fivefold over the previous year.
