BRIEF: Marlborough Mom Arrested After DUI Crash, Police Say [The Hartford Courant]
(Hartford Courant (CT) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jan. 18--GLASTONBURY -- A mother who police said was driving while under the influence with her children in the car was arrested Tuesday after she crashed.
Albina Ciesla, 29, of Kellogg Road in Marlborough was charged with driving while under the influence, following too closely and using a cell phone without a handsfree device, police said. She also was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court in Manchester Jan. 30.
No one was injured in the accident, which happened about 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hebron Avenue and Oak Street.
Police said she had her two young children in the car.
