BRIEF: Riders hurt in dirt bike collision in Robinson Township

Jan 19, 2013 (Grand Haven Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- ROBINSON TOWNSHIP -- Jordan Bradley, 15, and Peter Pierson, 25, both of Grand Haven, were seriously injured when their 125 cc class dirt motorcycles collided in the driveway of a home located at 13250 144th Ave., said Sgt. Brian Buter of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.


The two had been riding for some time when one of them crossed in front of the other and they collided, Buter said. Both of them were thrown off their motorcycles.

Bradley was taken by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital, and then transferred by AeroMed helicopter to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, where he was in critical condition late Saturday afternoon, Buter said.

Pierson was taken by ambulance to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital and was in serious condition, Buter said.

The crash is still under investigation.
