Mobily posts SR1.9b profit in fourth quarter [Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates)]
(Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) RIYADH - Etihad Etisalat Company, the Saudi telecommunications operator also known as Mobily, reported an 11 per cent increase in fourth-quarter profit because of more revenue from subscriber roaming charges and data services.
Net income rose to SR1.9 billion ($507 million) from SR1.7 billion in the same period a year earlier, the company said in a statement on the Saudi stock exchange's website on Saturday. That was more than the SR1.75 billion average estimate from 13 analysts compiled by Bloomberg News.
