NBN training costs attacked

The Coalition has criticised the high training costs for employees of NBN Co. At a Senate estimates committee hearing, it was revealed that NBN Co spent $A6.9 million on staff education in 2011-12. This amounts to between $A4,112 and $A8,052 for each employee. In the same year, Telstra spent $A1,300 for each employee, while two other government departments spent $A1,813 and $A1,900.
