Nine and Seven want gold from Games broadcast

Jan 20, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Nine Network currently holds the broadcasting rights to the Olympic Games. Seven is trying to win the rights from its rival. A decision is due to be made by the end of February 2013. Negotiations are underway with the International Olympic Committee, and both networks are considering ways to make Olympics coverage financially feasible. Nine made a $A20 million loss on the 2012 London Games.
