Canadian Solar, Algonquin Power partner on 10 MW solar power project in Ontario
BEIJING, Jan 20, 2013 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
China's Canadian Solar (CSIQ.NASDAQ),
one of the world's largest solar companies, said that its subsidiary,
Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., had inked a 10 MW AC module supply agr
eement with Algonquin Power Co., to provide the latter with modules fo
r a utility-scale solar power project in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.
The project is scheduled to commence construction in the second q
uarter of 2013, and go into full operation by the fourth quarter of 20
13, according to the company's web release.
The utility-scale solar plant is expected to include approximatel
