Alvarez & Marsal Adds Senior Healthcare Executive
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--
Global professional services firm Alvarez
& Marsal announced the addition of Steve
Geringer, a senior healthcare executive, advisor and director, to
lead A&M Healthcare Industry Group's private equity services as a
managing director based in New York.
Mr. Geringer brings significant experience working with organizations
focused on hospital management, outpatient services, managed care,
pharmaceutical benefits, behavioral health and social services, and
healthcare information technology. He also serves as chairman of Amsurg
Corp. and a director of Addus Homecare, Inc., both public corporations;
chairman of Qualifacts Systems, Inc., and a director of Woundcare
Specialists, Inc.

division of ACS (News - Alert), a unit of Xerox Corporation); director of CCRx
Pharmaceutical Services (acquired by Omnicare); co-founder and chief
executive officer of Clinical Pharmaceuticals (acquired by PCS Health
Systems), and chief executive officer and president of PCS (later
acquired by Eli Lilly & Co).
Mr. Geringer earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University
of Pennsylvania. He is immediate past co-chair of Jewish Funders
Network, an international philanthropic organization based in New York;
former chairman of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix,
and a past trustee of the Phoenix Country Day School.
