Howard C. Gordon, at 77, of Quincy, cable splicer

Jan 23, 2013 (Boston Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Howard C. Gordon of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, a retired cable splicer, died Saturday at his home. He was 77.

Born in Boston, Mr. Gordon was raised in Dorchester. He was a resident of Quincy for many years.

Mr. Gordon was a 60-year member of IBEW Local 103 in Boston.

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, bowling, crafts, traveling with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Husband of the late Eleanor C. (Brinkert), Mr. Gordon is survived by a daughter, Ellen M. Ward of Braintree; a brother, Robert of Quincy; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.


A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Ann's Church, Quincy.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Arrangements by Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
