Geneva's Marketing Communications Honored

Geneva College's marketing efforts have been honored with two awards in the 2012 Collegiate Advertising Awards. The college's traditional undergraduate print advertisement has won a Gold Award in the Newspaper Ad category. The "Accept the Challenge" outdoor billboard won a Silver Award in the Billboard Design category. Both advertisements were created by Pittsburgh marketing communications firm BD&E.
The Collegiate Advertising Awards is an elite, national program designed to recognize the nation's most talented collegiate marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion.
"Representing the academic excellence and Christ-centered perspective of a Geneva College education is important in all of our messaging," notes Director of Marketing Services and Public Relations Cheryl Johnston. "The Collegiate Advertising Awards are prestigious, and receiving both a gold and silver award is a real tribute to the quality of our advertisements on a national level. I'm pleased about the collaboration we have with BD&E and the presentation of Geneva in our advertising."
