FIRST LINE EXPANDS ITS EXPORT TEAM

(Cision (English) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Support Team In Place To Aid Growth First Line’s sights are firmly set on overseas expansion after a foretaste of the rewards that lay outside UK borders after exhibiting in Spain, Russia and Germany during the course of 2012. As a result it has made a significant investment into its export sales department to gear itself for the increasing demand it is anticipating from a number of new markets.

First Line began its concerted export campaign following the recruitment of Kevin Neaverson at the beginning of 2012 and during the year he has developed the company’s export plan and has begun the process of establishing the structure of the team to deliver the growth that the company believes is possible.

Obviously key to achieving a successful outcome in any new market is to have accurate and reliable parts data for the vehicle parc in the target markets, which is why First Line has recruited Howard Rowe as its export market analyst.

Howard has several years experience of data handling and also has the numeric and analytical skills necessary to generate the data. With his excellent computer literacy skills he is able to present it in an easily accessible format that ensures that the export sales team can offer the right products for the relevant models in the vehicle parc.

Alongside Howard, First Line has also brought in Leila Lee a fluent Russian and Spanish speaker to assist Lisa Varndell, who has been with First Line for five years, as the company’s export administrator and export sales support manager respectively.

Working closely with the export sales and order entry departments, Leila and Lisa are responsible for customer requests for stock availability, price enquiries and order confirmation, as well as supporting the management of stock held at First Line’s third party logistic centres in Europe.

Commenting on the recruitment of the key personnel, Kevin Neaverson said: “To fulfil the potential that First Line undoubtedly has in overseas markets, particularly with the highly regarded Borg & Beck brand, it is vital to have the right people in the right positions to allow the business to flourish.

“With Howard’s superb analytical skills to ensure we have the correct product offering for each market, combined with the interpersonal skills of both Lisa and Leila to ensure that the communication with our customers is first rate, we have a very strong export support team. This therefore puts us in a great position to grow our overseas business as we know we have reliable and knowledgeable personnel in place for these extremely important roles.” For more information call the First Line sales team on: +44 (0) 1869 248484 or visit: www.firstline.co.uk ENDS Note for editors Photo left to right: Kevin, Leila, Lisa, (Andrew McCluskey featured in a separate release) and Howard For further information relating to this press material, please contact Steve Coombes on: 01753 650004 or e-mail: steve@chicanemarketing.co.uk Chicane is an established PR agency with a particular specialism in the automotive aftermarket and the motorsport industry.
