Platform Operator's Social and Mobile Expertise Bolsters Membership Diversity

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade association representing U.S. computer and video game publishers, today welcomed DeNA as a new member, increasing its total membership to 36 companies. As a company with proven expertise in mobile games and its social mobile platform, DeNA bolsters ESA's representation of the expanding mobile game industry segment.

Originally established in Tokyo in 1999 as a small startup offering online auction services, DeNA has continually sought new opportunities; in particular, it has experienced exponential growth in its social game services.
