BRIEF: Authorities: Nearly 40 wrecks on icy roads, but none serious

Despite icy roads on Friday night and Saturday morning, county authorities report there were no serious accidents on the roadways.
There were about 40 vehicle wrecks throughout the county between late Friday and early Saturday, according to Shelby Police Department communications.
The NC Highway Patrol and Shelby Police reported no accidents with serious injuries.
