LifeNexus Names Robert Rowley, M.D. as Medical Advisor

LifeNexus, the developer of the iChip and Personal Health Card, announced that Dr. Robert Rowley has been named Medical Advisor to the company.
According to a release, Dr. Rowley is the co-founder and, until this past year, Chief Medical Officer of Practice Fusion, an EMR system being used by practicing physicians in the United States. Dr. Rowley has significant experience and expertise in health delivery and health IT, including 30 years in clinical practice, experience as a Medical Director of Hill Physicians Medical Group and as a developer of some of the earliest EMR systems.
"Dr. Rowley will provide on-going consultation to us on our next generation product design, and our product roadmap," said David R. Strand, Chief Executive Officer. "His unique clinical perspective and health IT expertise will insure our product meets the needs of practicing physicians and other health care providers.
