BRIEF: Body found near vehicle in Helendale

Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man, whose body was found in Helendale on Sunday.
San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies came to Highway 395 at Shadow Mountain Road at 9 a.m. on a report of a body in the desert.
They found a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road and a dead man south of the car. His race and age are unknown.
