Jan 29, 2013 (The Augusta Chronicle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
The Morris President's Club Award was handed out Monday to an advertising employee with TAC Media.
The Augusta Chronicle
Sean Bielinski was honored for his work in 2012. He is an account executive for TAC Media, an umbrella brand created last year for The Augusta Chronicle along with its portfolio publications and digital products.
"It's a great honor, first and foremost," said Bielinski, who has been with the company for 10 1/2 years. "I've seen many great salespeople that I've worked with in the past get that award."
Bielinski will go on to compete with advertising reps from other properties in the Morris Publishing Group, he said. The overall winner will receive the 2012 William S. Morris III Award for Advertising Excellence.
The award, named for Morris Communications' chairman and CEO, is given out annually to honor the company's top advertising sales representatives.
Winners are selected for meeting criteria including exceeding revenue budgets, teamwork, leadership, creativity, community involvement and local selling awards.
