Feb 02, 2013 (The Wichita Eagle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Police are searching for a suspect in the Friday night robbery of the Presto Convenience Store at 1350 N. Oliver.
A man entered the store at 11:35 p.m. pointed a small black revolver with a brown handle at the clerk and demanded money, police said. After receiving money, he left on foot headed east on 13th Street.
He is described as a black man in his 20s; 5 feet, 5 inches tall; wearing a blue sweater, tan pants, black gloves and a black mask.
The amount taken was undisclosed.
Police said the robbery may be linked to an incident about a half hour earlier in which a black man described as 5-foot-4, 200 pounds, wearing a padded black jacket and ski mask attempted to enter the Dominos Pizza at 327 N. Hillside.
The store's front door was locked and the man left.
