BRIEF: PFLAG celebrates commitment at Feb. 10 event

The local chapter of PFLAG will have its annual Celebration of Commitment at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at Unity Spiritual Center, 931 Fifth Ave. N, Sartell.
The day is an opportunity to celebrate the commitment of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender couples. It includes a blessing and musical selections by Unitarian Universalist singers, refreshments and a social time for sharing stories.
PFLAG of St. Cloud/Central MN organizes the event, which is expected to end at 4:30 p.m.
This year's celebration also will celebrate the defeat of the marriage amendment in the November elections, according to Dan Haskamp, president of PFLAG St. Cloud.
