BRIEF: Red Cross hosting free diaster preparedness workshop Feb. 23

Red Cross instructors will deliver free workshops covering disaster preparedness, emergencies and winter safety in local Ace Hardware stores, including a Greeley store in late February.
In the hour-long workshops participants learn how to mitigate risk, but also how to react when disaster strikes their home or neighborhood.
The workshops are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Greeley workshop will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Ace Hardware of Greeley, 2626 11th Ave.
