BRIEF: Trio robs men at gunpoint
STOCKTON, Feb 03, 2013 (The Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Two men were robbed at gunpoint while walking in the 1200 block of Lloyd Thayer Circle late Friday night, authorities said.
The robbery occurred at about 10:45 p.m. The victims, ages 20 and 21, told police they were approached by three men in a white four-door Honda. One of the men got out of the car and started talking to the victims while the other two exited the vehicle and pointed handguns at them, police said.
The robbers demanded the victims' property and fled the scene in the Honda, authorities said.
One of the thieves was described as a black man in his 20s standing 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with black dreadlocks and a black sweater, officers said. Another was described as a black man in his 20s standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with short hair and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said. The third was described as a black man in his 20s standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds with short hair.
