Mumtaz Bhutto flays govt. for suspending cell phone service

(Daily Messenger (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PML-N leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has criticized the government for imposing ban on pillion riding and suspending cell phone service time and again giving lame excuses of combating terrorism.

“It proves incapability and helplessness of the rulers who have now decided to call more police contingents to Karachi from interior of the province,” he said in a statement on Saturday contending that the move wouldn’t help control the situation in Karachi.

Bhutto said calling of police from interior Sindh would rather deteriorate crime situation there. “More than half of the Karachi police is engaged in guarding the rulers and their cronies therefore police need to be allowed to perform as law enforcing agency.” PML-N leader lamented that the present rulers have put the life of citizens of country at stake instead of resolving their basic problems during last five years.
