Gillard defends 'decision to focus on jobs'
Feb 05, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) --
Prime Minister Julia Gillard says the Federal Government decided to abandon its 2012-13 Budget surplus pledge to save jobs and underpin the economy amid falling revenue. Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has warned Liberal Party MPs to avoid being arrogant. Abbott claims that voters have decided that the Australian Labor Party should not have another term in government, but have not yet decided that the Coalition should form government.
