Feb 06, 2013 (Chicago Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A man robbed a Fox Lake branch bank this afternoon, authorities said.
The man entered the PNC Bank branch, 66 E. Grand Ave. in the north suburb, about 2:41 p.m., and robbed the bank, Fox Lake Police said in an emailed statement. He took what police said was an undetermined amount of cash.
The man handed a teller a note demanding money, but did not imply or display a weapon, said FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde. The man was described as white, between the ages of 25 and 40, and standing about 5-foot-7, with a medium build.
The robber was wearing a tan coat, blue jeans, athletic shoes, gloves, a knit hat, a scarf and a white dust mask, Hyde said.
