BRIEF: Odessa man charged in burglary

An 18-year-old Odessa man was charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony after, court records state, he and two other people forced their way into a residence.
Rossi Deandrea Fay, 516 Wabash Ave., was being held Wednesday at the Ector County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
Odessa Police officers responded to a burglary in the 2300 block of Park Avenue and interviewed Vicki Sanchez, 39; Alexis Madrid, 20; and a 15-year-old juvenile, an arrest affidavit stated.
Sanchez told officials that three men with a gun forcibly entered the residence, pointed the weapon at her, and demanded to know where her son was, the affidavit stated. After looking around the residence, the three men then left the home, the affidavit stated.
During the investigation, the suspects identified Fay through a photo line-up as one of the suspects that entered their residence, the affidavit stated.
Jail records state Fay was charged Monday morning. It is unknown if the police department has made any other arrests in connection to the incident.
