BRIEF: Thief steals cash register from Far East Side Subway
MADISON, Feb 10, 2013 (The Wisconsin State Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A robber took off with the cash register from a Subway restaurant on the Far East Side on Saturday night, Madison police said.
Police said a man wearing a ski mask entered the Subway at 4692 Cottage Grove Road just after 6:45 p.m. The clerk ran to the back and when she came out, the cash register was gone. There were no injuries and no weapon was seen.
The robber is described as about 6 feet with a slim build.
