BRIEF: Police: Thieves target cell phone users on Red Line [Chicago Tribune]

(Chicago Tribune (IL) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Feb. 10--Police are searching for a group of thieves who have been targeting people using their cell phones on the Red Line.

In the early part of the year, several males robbed passengers of cell phones and other electronic devices while traveling on the Red Line between 55th and 95th streets, police said in a statement.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 312-747-8273.
