Packer admits One.Tel cost more than money

Feb 10, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- James Packer says he will always appreciate the kindness of Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch about their investment in the failed One.Tel joint venture. Packer reveals that he felt a large sense of responsibility on the Murdochs' behalf about the telco's collapse 13 years ago. The billionaire media mogul says US celebrity Tom Cruise reached out to him during the period of depression and exhaustion that followed One.Tel's failure.
