AspenTech software chosen by world's biggest CO2 test facility

Aspen Technology Inc (AspenTech) (NASDAQ:AZPN), a provider of software and services to the process industries, said today that its aspenONE software has been deployed at the world's largest industrial-scale facility for testing and improving CO2 capture technologies.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Norway's Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM) is using Aspen Plus and Aspen InfoPlus.21 software for planning, follow-up and verification of its test programmes and results. This is helping to show that process manufacturers can reduce carbon emissions more economically, resulting in lower plant operating costs and reduced environmental impact.
AspenTech's aspenONE software enables process industry companies to optimise their engineering, manufacturing and supply chain operations in order to increase their capacity, improve margins, reduce costs and become more energy efficient.
