Strategic Health Services Names Chris Caramanico CEO

Strategic Health Services (SHS) has announced the appointment of Christopher J. Caramanico as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Caramanico served in leading sales, marketing, and operational roles with SCI Solutions, Allscripts and McKesson before joining SHS. He was appointed to SHS’s Board of Directors in 2011.
SHS also announced that Loren Buysman has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Buysman has served in high-level technology and management roles at McKesson for 25 years. His last position there was as a group President, for the McKesson Provider Technology Division.

Chris Caramanico has a proven track record for building high-performance sales and operational teams over the last 20+ years. In his eight years at McKesson, Mr. Caramanico held increasingly senior roles culminating as the general manager leading McKesson’s managed services business. The managed services business included over 700 employees and over $225 million in revenue. For the past several years he has played significant leadership roles at Eclipsys, now Allscripts, and most recently at SCI Solutions.
