BRIEF: Midtown's Left-Handed Cook adds two kinds of ramen
Feb 14, 2013 (Pioneer Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
The Left-Handed Cook in Midtown Global Market, home of the super-tasty bop rice bowl and some of the most interesting fried chicken in the Twin Cities, is adding ramen to its menu.
The counter-service stand has four seats that will be curtained off during Friday and Saturday dinner (from 4 to 7:30 p.m.), and the ramen will be available only there.
Thomas Kim, chef of Left-Handed Cook said the noodles will be served two ways: dressed with pork fat and chili oil with braised pork, kimchi, radish, mushroom, kombu and poached egg and a side of shoyu dipping broth or served in a dashi broth with pork and miso.
The new menu starts Friday.
The Left-Handed Cook: 920 E. Lake St., Suite 124, Minneapolis; 612-208-0428.
