Vitera Healthcare Solutions Adds Kermit Randa to Executive Team

Vitera Healthcare Solutions, a provider of ambulatory electronic health records and practice management solutions, announced that Kermit Randa, FACHE, CPHIMS, is joining the company's leadership team as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Randa most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Surgical Information Systems (SIS), which specializes in anesthesia and perioperative software solutions. Prior to his time at SIS, Randa worked in leadership roles with various companies including EMC Corp. and Siemens Healthcare. Currently, he is a Board member of the Georgia Chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and participates on two mHIMSS Taskforce groups. He received a Master's in Health Administration at Xavier University and has earned the prestigious Fellow designation within the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
This year Vitera noted, it has added more than 300 individuals to its workforce, as well as invested heavily in developing new products. Vitera introduced Vitera Stat, a comprehensive, cloud-based practice management and electronic health record solution, certified for Meaningful Use. In addition, Vitera released Vitera Intergy Mobile, which provides secure access to critical clinical and practice information from a user's mobile device.
