Shares of Purecycle Rank the Lowest in Terms of Return on Equity in the Water Utilities Industry (PCYO, CWCO, MSEX, AWK, SJW)

Below are the three companies in the Water Utilities industry with the lowest return on equity. The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.Purecycle ranks lowest with a ROE of -46.5%. Following is Consolidated Water with a ROE of 5.0%. Middlesex Water ranks third lowest with a ROE of 7.5%.
American Water Works follows with a ROE of 8.4%, and SJW rounds out the bottom five with a ROE of 8.6%.
