BRIEF: 2013-14 Oregon Blue Book, state's almanac, now available online

The 2013-14 Oregon Blue Book, the state's official almanac, is now available online.
It includes updated listings and descriptions of government agencies, elected officials, maps, and information about Oregon history, arts, media and cultural institutions.
The online version also includes games, trivia, quizzes and polls about Oregon history and culture.
The printed version of the Blue Book will be released in March. An order form is available online.
Beaverton resident John Pedersen won the cover photo contest for amateur photographers. "Strawberry Hill Sunset" was taken in March 2011 at sunset near Strawberry Hill south of Yachats, according to the Blue Book website.
The Oregon Blue Book has been published every other year since 1911.
