The Chattanooga Times Free Press offers several packages to make it easy to announce your engagement and wedding to the world. Running both in the newspaper and online, these choices allow local friends and family and those from out of town to see your announcement.
Standard Engagement Announcement
Runs in the Sunday Life section and online at timesfreepress.com/weddings with one photo and 100-200 words of text.
$40
Standard Wedding Announcement
Runs in the Sunday Life section and online at timesfreepress.com/weddings with one photo and 100-200 words of text.
$50
Diamond Wedding Package
Runs in the Sunday Life section with a three photos and 300-500 words of text. At timesfreepress.com/weddings, the text also runs with an online photo gallery from your wedding.
$150
How to submit your announcement
Wedding and engagement announcements may be submitted two ways.
1. ONLINE: Go to timesfreepress.com/weddings and select one of the three announcement options.
NEXT: Fill out your contact information, answer questions about your wedding or engagement and upload photos. You will be taken through the credit card payment process.
CONFIRM: To confirm that your online announcement is being processed or to find out more about wedding and engagement announcements, contact Judy Spears at 423-757-6250 or jspears@timesfreepress.com. The Times Free Press reserves the right to edit the information according to our editorial style.
2. BY MAIL: Call or email Judy Spears (see contact information above) to request the forms be mailed to you. Leave a message with your name and complete mailing address. When the forms arrive, fill them out and return to the Times Free Press with a check or your credit card information. The paper's address is on the form.
Once a month for the next six months, the Times Free Press will randomly select one of the couples from the Sunday wedding announcements and give them a free upgrade to the Diamond Wedding Package.
