City-country digital divide 'may widen'

Research has revealed that the digital divide may become greater. Innovation & Business Skills Australia commissioned research in rural and regional areas that are already connected to the national broadband network. The research found people did not have adequate technology skills to fully exploit the broadband network. The study also found dissatisfaction with some retail service providers.
