Rivals to pull McPherson out of garden

There is speculation that the Nine Network could recruit Craig McPherson, who was formerly executive producer of the Seven Network's "Today Tonight" program. He left Seven in late 2012, and industry sources suggest that this because he was overlooked to replace Peter Meakin as director of news and current affairs. Meanwhile, up to 50 employees at Nine are said to have applied for voluntary redundancies.
