Intelligent Software Solutions Selected For $249 Million U.S. Air Force Command and Control/Information Services Software Contract
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --(Business Wire)--
Intelligent Software Solutions (News - Alert) (ISS) has been selected as a prime
contractor for a $249 million U.S. Air Force Command and Control
Applications and Information Services Development (C2AD) contract. ISS
is one of seven prime contractors selected for the Multiple Award
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.
The five year delivery order contract, through the Air Force Life Cycle
Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., will
support the replacement of Theater Battle Management Core Systems (News - Alert)
(TBMCS), as well as development of Air Force C2 applications and
information services for air, space, and cyberspace domains. It will
address needs across the full software lifecycle, from concept
development through fielding and sustainment.
The work will provide architecture and functionality improvements,
vastly improving warfighter productivity compared to existing systems
that in some instances are leveraging technology initially fielded more
than a decade ago.

The C2AD Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)
contract has seven prime contractors, including ISS. Team ISS includes

LLC, Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems, Data Tactics
Corporation, Tactical Communications Group, LLC, and Triquetra
Technologies. The Team brings broad talents in air, space, and
cyberspace C2 domain experience, SOA expertise, NATO coalition support,
Joint and Combined operations, TBMCS expertise, data link integration,
cyber mission assurance, cross domain solution engineering as well as
military aircraft and Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) operations.
