BRIEF: E-waste event supports St. Francis robotics team

St. Francis High School, 5900 Elvas Ave., will host e-waste recycling from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 2 to benefit the Fembots -- the school's all-girl robotics team.
Televisions, computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, printers, telephones, stereo components, as well as CD, DVD and MP3 players, and miscellaneous electronics will be collected at no charge.
Participants can pop the trunk or open the door and students will unload their vehicles, according to a press release.
The school has partnered with CEAR, a state-approved collector and recycler of electronic waste.
