Feb 19, 2013 (The Oregonian - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Clackamas County authorities say a Milwaukie-area 7-Eleven store was robbed early this morning. No one was hurt.
The incident was reported about 1:35 a.m. at 7800 S.E. Lake Road, southeast of Milwaukie
Deputy Bryon O'Neil, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office spokesman, said a masked man with a handgun entered the store, demanding money, but didn't get any. The gunman then took a customer's purse.
The man ran off and remains at large this morning. Deputies used a tracking dog, but were unable to find the gunman.
The gunman is described as 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-9, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie-style sweatshirt, a black facemask and black jeans.
O'Neil urged anyone with information to call the sheriff's confidential tip line at 503-723-4949. Confidential text messages can be sent to CRIMES (274637 on a cell phone keypad), with the keyword "CCSO" as the first word in the message.
