Liberty Mutual Insurance's Group Benefits Mobile Application Gets New Functionality

Group life and disability policyholders of Liberty Mutual Insurance can now offer their employees a convenient way to view leave time and claim details on their smartphones and tablets. The new View Status function is the latest enhancement to MyLibertyMobile?, the first mobile application developed by a group disability and life carrier.

"We built MyLibertyMobile to meet the needs of employees who already manage much of their life through their mobile device," notes Anne Brogan, eBusiness Manager, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group Benefits. "View Status puts key claim and leave information at hand, empowering employees to quickly confirm the status of their claim, when a claim check will be issued, and how much leave time is available. Employers are eager to offer this additional communication option to employees."

Additional functions of the patent-pending MyLibertyMobile application allow employees to quickly and easily:

• Report intermittent time away from work
• Activate benefits following the birth of a child
