Panagene Signs Off with Dako to Supply PNA Oligomer Component
DAEJEON, South Korea --(Business Wire)--
Panagene announced it has signed a supply agreement with Dako Denmark
A/S to supply PNA oligomer key component for incorporation into Dako's
diagnostic or research products. Dako, an Agilent (News - Alert) Technologies Company
since June 2012, is a leading global provider of tissue-based cancer
diagnostic solutions. Under the agreement, Panagene will be the
exclusive supplier of PNA probes which are raw materials for Dako's
diagnostic products.
PNA (Peptide Nucleic Acid) is an artificially synthesized DNA analogue
which has higher binding ffinity, specificity and sensitivity to the
target and high biological/chemical stability. Panagene produce PNA
probe of high quality and yield by its proprietary synthesis technology
and has supplied its PNA probe to several multinational companies within
in vitro diagnostics.
