BRIEF: Women arrested in Turlock blaze due n court today
MODESTO, Feb 22, 2013 (The Modesto Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Three women who are accused of setting a fire that caused $5 million in damage to a shuttered Turlock cheese plant are set to appear in court today.
Lanette Sullivan, 46, Wanda White, 45, and Erika Clardy, 24, face charges of arson and attempted murder in Tuesday night's fire.
Authorities allege the three women set the fire at the former Lactalis plant on West Main Street during a dispute with a man in an effort to kill him.
All three women, considered transients, are in custody at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center with bail set at $500,000 each.
